22 officers and employees of Chhattisgarh Police receive bravery awards

President Draupadi Murmu has announced the conferment of Gallantry Medal to 11 officers and employees, President’s Distinguished Service Medal to 01 officer, and Meritorious Service Medal to 10 officers of the Chhattisgarh Police Department on the occasion of Republic Day, 2025. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated and extended his best wishes to all the honored officers and employees of the Chhattisgarh Police Department for this achievement.
Chhattisgarh has earned the highest 11 Gallantry Medals for outstanding performance in the police service category. This is a testament to the dedication, commitment, and bravery of the state’s security forces. In addition, one officer from Chhattisgarh was awarded the “President’s Distinguished Service Medal” (PSM) and 10 officers were awarded the “Meritorious Service Medal” (MSM). In total, the state has won 22 awards in the police service this time, which gives it a proud place at the national level.
In the Home Guard and Civil Defense category as well, Chhattisgarh has made its mark, where an officer of the state has been awarded the “Meritorious Service Medal”. This award recognizes the contribution of Chhattisgarh in law and order and emergency services. This remarkable achievement has once again made the state proud on the national stage.
