Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has said, India has to wait and watch the impact of the US pressure on Pakistan.
Recently the US had stopped military aid to Pakistan saying that the country is not taking stringent steps against terrorists and terror groups on its soil.
Addressing annual press conference in New Delhi this afternoon, General Rawat said, terrorism in Kashmir is not over and the focus of operations will shift to North Kashmir this year. On China, the Army Chief said, though China is a powerful country but India is not a weak nation.
He said, very soon India will have a hotline with China. The Chief of the Army Staff said, the Army will get over one lakh 86 thousand bullet proof jackets phase wise starting from June.
He said, the Army is also focusing on improving cyber security. General Rawat said, infrastructure development on northern borders has to be stepped up.
General Rawat said, Army has approached the government against cap on education fees of martyrs and disabled.
