Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Padmavati will not be screened in the state till controversy surrounding it is over.
He on Tuesday ordered concerned officials not to allow the screening of the film after BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Bablu made demand on this issue.
As per information received, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said Sanjay Leela Bhansali should clarify his stand as objections against Padmavati film are being raised from severalquarters.
Mr. Kumar said so long as controversy about the film does not subside the film would not be released in Bihar.
Chief Minister has taken this step after several Rajputs organisation and NDA leaders demanded a ban on Padmavati.
Chief Minister Mr Kumar categorically said during production of film the film maker should keep sentiments of people in his mind.
