Forest, Transport, Housing and Environment Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar has considered the state budget presented by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today for fiscal year 2020-21 as historical and extremely important for prosperity and progress of all the sections of the society.
Commenting on the budget, Forest Minister Mr. Akbar said that Rs 5100 crores have been provisioned in the budget under Rajiv Gandhi Kisaan Nyay Yojana to fulfill the promise of economic progress of farmers. This will not only provide proper value for thier hard work but will also improve thier standard of living. He said that happy farmers is the sign of state’s progress.
Forest Minister Mr. Akbar said that along with the farmers, State’s Budget has various new gifts for youth, labourers, students, teachers, businessmen, housewives etc. Needs of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe has been taken into special consideration in the budget. Sufficient amounts have been provisioned for development of every part of the state from Bastar to Sarguja. Education, healthcare facilities, employment opportunities, and industrial development have been given due importance in the budget. Likewise, Chief Minister’s announcements for conserveration and preservation of art, culture and historical heritage of Chhattisgarh is worth welcoming.
